Marriott has added a new dining and hospitality destination to its London portfolio with the opening of Hyde & Seek, a 309-room Tribute Portfolio hotel opposite Hyde Park.
The property is the result of a £42 million redevelopment of the former Corus Hotel Hyde Park and opened on September 23, 2026. Its food and beverage offering is designed to make the hotel more than a place to stay, with dining spaces aimed at both hotel guests and the surrounding community.
At the centre is Seekers Restaurant & Bar, a 138-seat contemporary British restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. Executive chef Ranjitkumar Sukumaran oversees the culinary direction, with menus built around seasonal British produce alongside modern techniques and global influences.
The hotel also features HydeOut, an all-day café and co-working space where guests can move from coffee and pastries to light bites and evening drinks. Its glass-roofed courtyard adds another social setting within the property.
Hyde & Seek reflects a wider shift in hotel gastronomy, where restaurants and cafés are increasingly designed as independent destinations rather than simply amenities for overnight guests. For Marriott, the London opening strengthens its presence in the competitive lifestyle-hospitality market while giving the local dining scene another design-led destination.
